Color Club - Raspberry Rush

Hi everyone! Today's post is about Color Club's Raspberry Rush, from this year's Wicked Sweet summer-collection, it's the only one from the collection I bought. Raspberry Rush is a scented, intense, blue-based pink neon. The pink is much more intense in real life, but my camera just wouldn't capture it, which is often the case with neons. As the name implies, Raspberry Rush is raspberry-scented, but I'm not sure if you'd recognize it if you didn't know the name. All I know is it smells sweet! Even after a layer of topcoat. The scent is pleasantly intense if you smell your nails from up close, but not noticeable from further away, which is a good thing since the smell of scented products can be disturbing sometimes.
A few cons: Raspberry Rush is pretty sheer and the drying time a bit longer then I'd like it to be. Although there's still VNL after three coats of polish, I can live with that because it's just very subtle and the formula is great. So despite its downsides, Raspberry Rush is still a winner in my opinion, because of the beautiful color and the nice formula. Did you buy anything from the Wicked Sweet collection?

Neon plaid

Hello readers! Do you remember the neon crackle mani? Well, when I was working on that mani, I discovered you could do pretty cool stuff with layering neons. Because of their sheerness new colors will appear when they're overlapping. So I was very eager to try out this plaid pattern with the four Color Club neons I own, which are Almost Famous, Warhol, Chelsea Girl and Age Of Aquarius.
I started out with two coats of Essence Stamp Me! White. Then I created two vertical stripes on each nail, using two of my four neons and tape for straight lines, after those had dried, I did the same thing horziontally with the colors that were left. And that's how plaid is made! Lol. Thanks for reading, gals! :)

Neon crackle party

Hi everyone! My first crackle mani! The first time I saw the effect of crackle polish I absolutely hated it, I thought it looked disgusting and swore I'd never ever be seen with it! Guess I have to take a few words back, lol. 'Cause I kind of like it, not loving it but without a doubt liking it. In black it has something similar to the leopard print and it looks gorgeous on neons, so that's what I did for this mani. Most of the time neons are very sheer and even reveal VNL after many layers of polish. That's why I always use a white base underneath which gives an opaque finish but also makes the colors so bright that it looks like they're glowing. But being so sheer also gives a funny side effect: you can layer them just like highlight markers which leads to new colors. For the mani I used Color Club's Warhol, Almost Famous and Chelsea Girl, a pink, yellow and blue neon. Caused by the layering you can also see some purple and orange. (Had I used blue and yellow next to each other more often, there also would've been some green.) There's a whole rainbow yet to be discovered! So I'll definitely be experimenting more with layering neons. Oh and by the way, the black crackle I used is from Barry M Nail Effects :)
How are you guys thinking about crackle? Absolutely hating it, totally loving it or starting to?

Laser mani

Laserbeams! That was the first thing that crossed my mind after I removed my tape and saw the pink lines cutting into the blue. This mani looks very '80s with the abstract pattern and the bold colors. The pictures aren't very color accurate though. Both colors are much brighter in real life, especially the neon pink is a lot pinker, like a highlight marker.
I was satisfied with the blue and pink, but the glossy finish of the topcoat really just distracted from the whole laser-look. So I mattified it with Essence Matt topcoat, which I think brings out the cross patterns much better. The pink neon is Warhol from Color Club, the blue is Essence's Caribbean Sea from the Show Your Feet-collection. Caribbean Sea is a nice aqua blue shimmer and it covers in one or two coats, but it stains so, so bad... Don't forget that basecoat, folks!
Thanks for reading :)

Parallel Race

Hi, just a quick post for my NOTD, I really like the design I made, but the real shade of the colors were not shown in the picture, maybe because my camera could not recognize the color, or maybe my background lighting conflicts with the camera flash. Whatever the reason I don't really know. It's more attractive in actual. Too bad I can't share it with you guys. I love the amisy F05 design.
When you see my mani what comes first into your mind? Do you like it?
I used neon green, pink and blue bnc nail polish
