Chunky Bling and Color Changing Polish

Anyway,have you tried using Del•Sol color changing nail polish? It's pretty cool right? Claire's mood changes depending upon the temperature of the surrounding while Del Sol only changes when subjected to direct sunlight and reverts back to its original color when indoor.. On my picture, I used "Ruby Slipper" del sol color changing nail polish, it's a silver glittery polish. On my design I used silver polish for the base coat then I added del sol for the top coat.. Here are the pictures indoor and when placed under the sun... Which of the 2 do you prefer?

Purple stars

Good afternoon everybody! For this post I want to show you a purple mani for which I used Color Club's Uptown Girl and Wild at Heart. Though I'm not a huge fan of purples I knew I wanted to have the purple holo Wild at Heart the moment I saw pictures of it. 'Cause holo's I like :) And this holo covers very well, which is nice for the freehand nail art I did here. Now this does not count for Uptown Girl that I had to apply three coats of for complete opacity, but the formula is nice and the drying time okay so it wasn't that bad.
For the stars I used a tiny, tiny paintingbrush, I kind of painted them randomly on the nails. Then I used a dotting tool from Essence to fill up the gaps between the stars.
So what do you think of purples? And would you like to see more purple manis in the future?

in December of 1996, one of my most wonderful clients lost her husband and son (who was off to play pro basketball) to an underage drunk driver. They were both very dear to me. with that being said, she asked me to paint their portraits on her fingers as a reminder of them....it was almost too much to bear and a turning point in MY life....but i did it through many tears. (three weeks came and went) and we just could not take them off. so started my journey in how to save nails that were too important to just wipe away. before that, others would just RIP them off and save them and we would laugh when someone would bite a favorite nail off and say "im keeping this!" but.........in Hester's case..it was different. i wanted to give her all i could to make her happy...to help her find solace....but still, 15 years later, i write this with tears. i began saving art for my clients because of her ---and to this day i will never forget the day i knew i wanted to put my heart into saving some of my art for special things. Hester's strength and support in stop DUI has allowed me to become strong and believe in what i do. i know it is non-traditional, i know this is not something i do every day,  but it is beautiful and dear to many people and so i am showing the world.  i love you hester.

Designer Millenium striped mani

Hi everyone, this look is one of my first tape manis. I used China Glaze's Designer Satin and Millenium. Millenium is one of my favorite polishes, the silver really pops and it covers in one coat, which is perfect for tape manis.
The tape I always use is just regular stationary tape which I cut in thin strips. If you want to do this look yourself but your nails are 'too' small/big, try to cut the tape in thinner/larger strips for the same effect. Also this mani is great for short nails, the vertical stripes create an optical illusion that will make short nails look narrower therefore longer.

Holiday Jingle

Hi all! It's been a busy week, after my family's summer getaway last Saturday, this coming Wednesday is my loving husband's special day, his birthday!! yay, I want my mani to look special on that day so I picked colors that I really like, it's kleancolor "Holiday Jingle" nail polish. I really like it, I used green np for base coat then I applied holiday jingle for top coat, thanks Tiff for this beautiful nail polish.. This is the first time I tried 3d acrylic mold. I chose flower design with yellow acrylic powder and added pearl beads on the tip.. Hope you like it!

Just wanna share my zip-line pix.. :) I'm so nervous that time! But I tried my best to smile for the camera.. Hehe...☻

Checkers with Gossip Column

Good morning! Today a petrol checkered mani, which I used the gorgeous Gossip Column from Color Club for. I'm a sucker for everything blue, green and especially in between. (I know, that rhymes, lol.) The dark silver foil is from Hema, a local store. And I know everybody's looking forward to spring and this look is more suitable for those dark and cold winter days, but such a beautiful petrol should be seen every season of the year! Good day.
